If you watched Thirtysomething, The Wonder Years, Friday Night Lights or The West Wing, WG ‘Snuffy’ Walden may be one of the most influential contributors to the soundtrack of your life. Snuffy started out like many talented musicians in the ‘60s and ‘70s, embracing the ‘‘Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll’’ lifestyle while trying to make it in a rock band. But unlike some of his peers, Snuffy quietly transitioned into one of the most successful, well liked and impactful television composers of our time. Up To Snuff is the story of that metamorphosis, recounted by the likes of Aaron Sorkin, Timothy Busfield, Martin Sheen, Tom Arnold, Eric Burden (of the Animals), and many others.

Close To U, a short documentary film, explores the untold history and visionary future of the fast-changing U Street Corridor through the stories of two locals and their thriving careers.

This film follows six surfers along with adventure photographer Chris Burkard and filmmaker Ben Weiland as they seek out unknown swell in the remote fjords of Iceland’s Hornstrandir Nature Reserve. Chartering a boat, they depart from Isafjordur on the cusp of the largest storm to make landfall in 25 years. Knowing that storms bring legendary swell, the crew are optimistic, but they face failure when the storm forces them back to shore. Making the decision to continue the expedition by road, they experience the brutality of Iceland’s winter and begin to question whether searching out the unknown is worth risking their lives. Despite setbacks, the team pushes on and finds that uncertainty is the best ingredient for discovering the unimaginable.
