RTCA Presents: The Nightmare Before Christmas

Join RTCA and the Washington West Film Festival to kick off this “spooky season” with a showing of the Tim Burton classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas, which will coincide with Disney’s release of a new 4k blu-ray of the blockbuster. Special guests and other fun aspects are rumored. Bring your blanket and popcorn and be ready to join in the fun of our second annual film in the park.

A coming-of-age romcom following Sam and JJ, two 18-yr-olds facing adulthood. When it becomes clear Sam intends to leave their small town for new adventures in California, JJ dares her to let him prove why Ohio is worth sticking around for.

Hocus Pocus: Outdoor Family Classic

As part of Art Day at Reston Town Center, and in partnership with the Reston Town Center Association, we will host a FREE outdoor, family friendly screening of the 1993 fall classic, Hocus Pocus. Join us for a fun and spooky evening! 

Hocus Pocus is a 1993 American fantasy comedy horror film that follows a villainous comedic trio of witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy) who are inadvertently resurrected by a virgin teenage boy in Salem, Massachusetts, on Halloween night.

 

Everybody Loves Jeanne

Everybody has always loved Jeanne. These days, she hates herself. Up to her ears in debt, she has to go to Lisbon and sell her mother’s apartment, who passed away one year ago. At the airport, she runs into Jean, a whimsical and somewhat intrusive former high school classmate.

Join us for the 40th celebration of this beloved film – come in costume, bring your Reese’s, and get ready to answer some trivia questions (and possibly win a prize!)
