Abdi is a simple Somali fisherman struggling to support his family in desparate economic times. After paying to have his wife and children smuggled into Yemen, Abdi is caught up with a gang of pirates and finds himself leading a raid on an oil tanker and holding their crew for ransom. Now Abdi has to choose what is more important to him--his desire not to harm innocent people, or his desire to get enough money to reunite with his family.
