We have been so excited to launch our new film program specifically for high school students in Loudoun County. This new, first of its kind film festival/high school collaboration is starting this winter, and we hope YOU will be a part of it! We’re super honored and excited to have this program sponsored by our amazing partners at AWS, who empower young people to use technology and art, and in this case film, to tell stories that inspire the world.
Any high school student in Loudoun County can submit a 5 minute or less short film to our festival, and a team theater, drama, and film studies teachers around the County will select the top twelve films – which will be Official Selections into our 2024 Washington West Film Festival, and our Student Showcase Screening at Lightridge High School.
